Why Peak Endurance Physical Therapy?

We focus on helping active individuals return to the activities that bring fulfillment to their lives. Most soft tissue and boney injuries occur from training flaws or limited tissue capacity. We help work with individuals to address these issues and typically the best way to address this is through getting you ACTIVE and TRAINING again.

The process begins with a decision from the individual that it is time for change. It is time to take ownership of your future. In choosing Peak Endurance we make a promise to you that you will experience the change in physical therapy away from the typical “physical therapy mill” environment of continually performing the same exercises that you have already mastered, passive modalities, and being treated with multiple other patients at the same time. We make the commitment to you for 60 minutes of one-on-one care with impactful exercise progression. Our job is to guide you down the path of pain free motion and the return to full activity. You are the one who will create change in your life and we are here to help guide you through that process.

Why Out of Network?

Peak Endurance is an out of network provider and this is by choice. This means that we do not directly bill to any insurance provider and you pay for our services with cash, check, credit, or through your Health Savings Account (HSA). There is potential for you to receive reimbursement from your insurance company for the services provided at Peak Endurance. Depending on your out of network benefits there is the potential to receive 0% – 90% reimbursement. We will help guide you through the process of contacting your insurance provider and will provide you with the correct documentation to apply for reimbursement.

Far too often in today’s healthcare system a patient’s care in physical therapy is dictated by what the insurance provider will allow. This is due to increasing deductibles and copays, limits on how many visits a patient is allowed, and when the insurance company feels that the patient is “good enough”.

At Peak Endurance we believe in transparency. You will know your bill going into every session, rather than getting a surprise bill three months down the road for something that you thought was covered.

We also believe that 70-80% improvement is not enough. You deserve to get back to the activities that you love to do. There should be no limitations on your improvement and goals. As an out of network provider we have the autonomy to work with our patients in a manner that allows us to get you back to where YOU want to be, not where an insurance provider thinks is sufficient.

The question is: What do you value? Are you satisfied with going to a typical physical therapy facility where you are seen 2-3x/week with minimal progression? Are you satisfied with performing the same exercises session to session as your provider watches while typing on their computer? Are you satisfied with going through the motions and following the current therapy model because “that’s just what you do”? Are you satisfied with the amount of ownership that you’ve taken thus far in your rehab and health? Or, is today the day when you decide you’ve had enough? It’s time for you to take ownership of the things that you want most in life and it’s time to get connected with Peak Endurance.

Dr. Taylor DeMars at Peak Endurance is well deserving of these five stars. She approached my issues with care and concern. She listened to my issues while gracefully and intelligently facilitating my recovery. Her concentrations in running, yoga, and pelvic floor issues were perfect for me. I will continue to recommend her to my friends and family and will not hesitate to see her again should any similar issues arise.

Dr. Agnew was able to address my root issues of planter fasciitis. I saw three PT’s before researching Peak Endurance. Dr. Agnew developed a unique treatment plan for me and made weekly modifications based on my progress and treatment goals. Because of his individualized approach I was able to get back to training and actually PR a half Ironman. I would recommend anyone at the Peak Endurance Team.

Apologies for a long overdue post. I had worked with Taylor for my incontinence/diastasis recti issues for a few months. And I am not a very motivated person, but she was always around gently pushing me to give it my all. The sessions with her were great in that she clearly explained the reason for each exercise as in what set of muscles were being targeted and why,as well as why we ought to do it in a particular way so as to ensure maximum benefit. Thanks Taylor!
