Parvathy Narayanan2022-11-29Hi, Apologies for a long overdue post. I had worked with Taylor for my incontinence/diastasis recti issues for a few months. And I am not a very motivated person, but she was always around gently pushing me to give it my all. The sessions with her were great in that she clearly explained the reason for each exercise as in what set of muscles were being targeted and why,as well as why we ought to do it in a particular way so as to ensure maximum benefit. Thanks Taylor!Matt Marcus2022-11-28This was my first time in PT and Spencer was far beyond what I expected. He's incredibly knowledgeable and shares the science/research behind his methods for strength building and recovery. He sets realistic goals but encourages you to push yourself to whatever level of exertion feels manageable. I especially appreciated this approach - pushing yourself to your limit in the recovery process, and not moving unnecessarily slow. He also provides guidance via messaging in between sessions. He in no way will pressure you into taking on more sessions than needed. He was incredibly efficient and wants to see you back in proper shape. I particularly recommend Spencer for runners. He's very knowledgeable and has helped me get back to running in the time frame he predicted when we first met.Madison Tustian2022-11-21Jennifer is awesome. I was dealing w/ knee pain when running and am feeling much better after several sessions with her.Rachael Wendt2022-11-21Recommend for recovery from any injury. Staff is focused on getting you back to doing what you love. I didn’t have to stop running completely and was encouraged to keep running as long as it was a pain level I could manage. Everything is going to be customized to you and your needs.Luke Manderle2022-11-18I got injured during my training cycle for Grandma's marathon in Spring '22 and was so anxious about how it would affect my race. I went to Peak Endurance PT on the recommendation of a running group friend and couldn't be happier with how it turned out. I worked with Taylor DeMars PT and she helped me to recover from my injury while maintaining fitness for my racing plans this past year. I felt supported the entire time, and was given a flexible plan that I could work into my everyday routine.Kathryn Bernard2022-11-17After I injured a finger tendon while climbing, Jennifer helped me get back to pain-free climbing and weight lifting over the course of a few sessions. Jennifer was great to work with - she adapted our sessions to my goals and gave me some great advice for finger strength programs. And she even helped me improve my squats at the same time!Kelsey Wrobel2022-11-11My experience working with Taylor to heal plantar fasciitis has been exceptional. I was struggling with pain that made essential tasks miserable and my hobbies impossible. Over several months of progressive strength training my foot pain is drastically reduced to almost none and I am increasing my activity level every week. In every session Taylor has been focused, attentive, and reassuring. She clearly communicated the treatment plan and has been great with all of my questions during sessions and through the PT Everywhere app between sessions, and with adapting the plan to meet my needs. Taylor is continuing to support me as I increase my activity level and is also just great to be around. Thanks Taylor!Matthew Norman2022-11-10Working with Peak Endurance feels like real therapy! They really listen and approach your treatment not just as experts in kinesiology and medicine, but also with an empathetic and personal approach that leaves me feeling uniquely understood as an injured athlete as well as more knowledgeable and empowered in all regards.Judah Axelrod2022-11-07I came to Spencer as a lifelong runner who was prepping for my first marathon but could never previously get over the injury hurdle. The past several months with him have completely changed my outlook as a runner and shown me what is possible when you're in the hands of an expert physical therapist. Spencer has given me the type of individualized, hands-on attention that I hadn't received anywhere else. He talked with me through my goals and frustrations as often as I needed, set up personalized home exercise routines and worked with me to make sure my technique was right and my questions were answered, gave me manual treatment to work through particularly sore spots, and put on his cross-country coaching hat to create an amazing training plan for me that felt rigorous but flexible to my needs. He did all of this while maintaining infectious optimism and genuine kindness on weeks where I wasn't feeling good about the process. I can honestly say I wouldn't have made it to the start line, much less crossed the finish line of the marathon without his help. I couldn't recommend Peak Endurance more, whether you're an athlete training towards a particular goal or someone trying to recover from an injury. The team works with you to build the strength and knowledge so that you're not reliant on PT any longer than necessary, and you won't get a better combination of professionalism, expertise, and good vibes anywhere else.Lynne Pitts2022-11-04I couldn't be happier with my Peak Endurance experience. I was fortunate to get to work with Jennifer on my nagging and frustrating hip pain. As a lifelong athlete and fitness enthusiast, the inability to walk, climb stairs, or even sleep comfortably was demoralizing and frustrating. Jennifer is a master problem-solver, with an apparently endless bag of tricks and techniques for addressing concerns, quirks, and joint dysfunctions. She's always upbeat, compassionate, and fun to work with, and after a few months of appointments, including her diligent off-cycle check-ins and an ever-adjusting suite of homework, I'm at the point where 5+ mile hikes are comfortable, I can re-attack my weight training and workout routines with more stability and confidence, and I even get to sleep on my side once in a while, a luxury that I thought was gone forever. I have recommended a couple of folks to Peak Endurance/Jennifer, and if I knew more people, I'd send 'em all to her!Load more
